Encore Training Masterclass: Jewellery – Wednesday 19th November – **POSTPONED**

Description

This course will explain in detail the processes in Encore which are most relevant for the retail jeweller. This will include stock control and product set up, barcode labeling, branch operations, stock taking, purchasing, point of sale processing and repairs. The course also covers how to use customer profiles and marketing lists to communicate with your customers.

This course is aimed at new Encore users and those who want a more detailed knowledge of those aspects of the system most important to the retail jeweller.

 

Encore Training Masterclass: Accounting – Wednesday 10th December

Description

While the ‘face’ of Encore is all about sales, purchasing and stock control, in the background it is of course recording all your accounting transactions for you. In many ways, this back office functionality is just as important as what is going on at the front end. For those users who have to look after the bookkeeping and accounting for their company, there are many settings and transactions with which they need to be familiar.

This course gives a detailed look at the ledgers in Encore, their structure and maintenance, how postings affect them and how to get information from them. Topics covered include creating and maintaining the chart of accounts, sales and purchase ledger postings, provisional accounting, sundry payments, manual and automatic journals, accruals, prepayments, how transactions affect VAT, how to use foreign currencies and where to find all of the standard accounting reports.

Who should attend?

Suitable for back office staff who are new to Encore or existing users who have some knowledge of accounting transactions but would like a more in-depth understanding of this aspect of the system.

Time: 9.30am – 5.00pm

Location: Horsham, West Sussex

Cost: £140 per person, with a 10% discount if 2 or more people attend the same course from the same company.
