Microsoft Windows has recently issued a security update (KB3013455) for Vista and Server 2003 machines. This update has an impact on True Type fonts which are used in many applications.
As Encore uses true fonts in some of its displays the text will appear differently and there may be issues in reading some of the text on screen.
Microsoft has issued the following warning: After you install security update 3013455, you may notice some text quality degradation in certain scenarios. The problem only occurs on systems that are running Windows Vista SP2 or Windows Server 2003 SP2. Microsoft is researching this problem and will post more information in this article when the information becomes available.
Anagram advises that customers speak to their IT department if they are experiencing any issues with their font display, as this display is not controlled by Encore.
